I am currently studying at UC Berkeley intending to double major in Philosophy and Psychology and minor in French. I am native in Korean, fluent in English, and intermediate in French. For each lesson, I have prepared a one-hour plan with complete beginner in mind. I share screenshots of the lesson plan over Skype before each lesson so students have an idea of what we will be learning next lesson. Together, we look at a series of examples that I have written in the plan to help us understand Korean grammar. For the past two and a half years, I have taught students of various cultural backgrounds both in person and online. During those two-plus years, I read many books and online articles that provide a thorough explanation of grammatical rules and structures in hangul. To mention a few, I read "Korean, A Comprehensive Grammar" (Jaehoon Yeon and Lucien Brown), "Korean Grammar in Use" (Ahn Jean-myung, Lee Kyung-ah, Han Hoo-young), "Learn Korean: LP's Korean Language Learning" (Luke Park), "Talk to Me in Korean Levels 1-9" as well as a PDF guide provided by Korean Education Center in Canada in order to organize the most important information in a way that I thought most helpful for my students.
