Dr. Clement offers patients more than 45 years of experience. He’s been performing IOL implantation since 1977 and refractive surgery since 1991 with radial keratotomy. Today, he specializes in laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) and photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) surgeries, having contributed to over 25,000 laser vision procedures at Carolinas Eye Center.
A leader in ophthalmology and laser eye procedures, Dr. Clement has served as the president of the Charlotte Ophthalmology Society and remains an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
