I have seen more loans and loan scenarios in my fifteen years in the mortgage industry than many loan originators see in an entire career. Starting out in April of 2002 as an assistant at Emery Financial, I helped my team close over 1,000 loans in less than two years. Through my exposure to new situations on a daily basis and a fast-paced environment, I learned how to handle the details and pressures facing a highly productive mortgage team. Learning by doing and repeating the loan process over and over again gave me the confidence to begin to originate my own loans in March 2004. While I originated loans for only nine months in my rookie year, I closed 140 loans for just over $43 million and was ranked the 6th highest producing Rookie loan officer in the nation according to Mortgage Originator Magazine. In less than eight years, by the end of 2012, I was the 6th highest producing loan officer in the nation closing 797 loans for a total of $307,100,632. My vast experience and dedicated work ethic pays off for my clients again and again. Rarely does a loan scenario come across my desk that I have not seen in some form before. My clients can rely on me for sound advice, expert guidance in navigating an ever-changing lending environment and practical solutions to meet their home financing needs. My decision to partner with Home Point Financial gives me access to the best loan programs and the ability to provide the highest level of responsiveness and customer service my customers have come to expect from me. I have always been interested in the world of finance. Not only did I graduate Summa Cum Laude from the University of Colorado with a major in International Business and Finance, I also worked in the bond pits at the Chicago Board of Trade. When I’m not originating loans, I enjoy returning to mt roots on the ski slopes of Colorado where my sister and I were raised by our ski instructor parents. In addition to my passion for loans and skiing, I am also an avid hiker and reader. I live in Wheat Ridge, CO with my wife, Tiffany, and two adorable pugs.
