Board-certified orthopaedic surgeon Warren J. Strudwick, Jr., MD, has spent the better part of three decades treating adults with musculoskeletal conditions to relieve their pain and get them moving again safely and quickly. After receiving a BA in biology from Brown University, Dr. Strudwick earned his medical degree from the Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Dr. Strudwick’s postgraduate medical training included both a residency in orthopedic surgery and an internship in general surgery at the world-renowned Stanford University Medical Center. He later completed a fellowship in reconstructive surgery of the knee and sports medicine at Jean Monnet University in France.
He’s proud to be the team physician and orthopaedic surgeon for the NFL Oakland Raiders since 1996. His other accomplishments include serving as the the former team doctor to the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, the University of California, Berkeley, and the Team USA Olympic track and field team as they trained and competed.
Dr. Strudwick currently serves on the boards of numerous leading medical associations, including the National Medical Association, a nationwide organization of African-American physicians.
