Our In The Moment memory support program is designed to provide a place where residents have the opportunity to live a fulfilling and dignified life! This holistic program focuses on the total well-being of residents, not simply on the disease, and features the Six Elements of Engagement which address: physical engagement, spiritual engagement, artistic expression, community connections, continuing education and lifestyle and leisure.
We customize and cater our care to each resident, learning about them and making sure to gear activities around the things they enjoy.
Physical therapists, physicians, beauticians, rehab services and hospice care are all available at Symphony, and residents take part in daily social activities, community outings, speakers and musical performances.
Within a charming Victorian home, complete with corner turrets and a welcoming wraparound porch, Symphony is made up of three separate “neighborhoods,” each with 20 residents, as it’s comforting for people with dementia to experience the same people each day and become familiar with their surroundings.
Our building surrounds a courtyard, complete with a patio and garden the residents can plant, and a mini-putting green if they want to practice their golf skills. Residents can spend as much time as they like by themselves within well-appointed studios and one-bedroom apartments or join in social time.
