Founded in 2005, Abitare Miami -DBA of Domus Design Studio LLC- opened its doors as an Italian manufacturing furniture importer. At that time, the trendy design was in its infancy, and minimalism was an unknown word. However, it was apparent that the rapidly evolving of modern and sleek home and office furniture design represented a new business opportunity. Although the contemporary concept was still beginning, as buying "a la mode" furniture was a thought that most people had never considered, we launched one of the first samples-only showroom facilities with the client in mind and the fashionable design as an educational modish.
We quickly expanded upon the design demand idea to include products such as sofas, chairs, desks, and many more and thrived under the mantra, "Design Yours" because furnishing shouldn't just be what other people tell you it is. It should be yours.
