Horacio Asbun, M.D., is a surgical oncologist specializing in treating liver cancer, gallbladder cancer, biliary system cancer and pancreatic cancer and diseases. He is chief of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute. Prior to this role, he served as director of the Hepatobiliary and Pancreas program and chairman of General Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Fla. He is fluent in English and Spanish.Dr. Asbun is actively involved in clinical research to improve treatment efficacy and patient outcomes. He has published more than 150 peer-reviewed scientific articles, 110 peer-reviewed surgical videos and 35 book chapters.
