Dr. Kohanski continued her training at the University of Southern Carolina School of Medicine, completing a forensic psychiatry fellowship.

In addition to private practice psychiatry, Dr. Kohanski worked as an attending physician at Georgia Regional Hospital in Augusta and Savannah, Georgia, and Whiting Forensic Hospital in Middletown, Connecticut.

With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Kohanski has extensive expertise in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy and its interface with medicine.
