Jaime LeDuc is a physical therapist and supervisor at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She specializes in physical therapy for patients with cancer and orthopedic injuries, including aquatics and sports rehabilitation. She treats patients with muscle and joint pain or injuries, after total joint replacement surgery and before and after other orthopedic surgeries.
Her research interests include oncology standardization of care, post-operative total joint care and patient education, as well as peer audits and documentation standards at the UVM Medical Center.
Jaime enjoys working with patients of every age and ability in a variety of settings. She works with patients in the outpatient orthopedic setting at Family Medicine- South Burlington in addition to her supervisor role.
She enjoys making a personal connection with each patient helping to build trust and understanding that enhances the healing process. She believes that collaborating with a patient to help them reach their goals and to see them succeed is a rewarding part of the job. Jaime believes physical therapy is not only about healing from an injury or surgery, but also can improve lifelong health by promoting general wellness and helping to prevent further injury from occurring.
