Redemption Lutheran Church is a new church plant located in Watertown, NY. We are a Bible-based church because that is where we discover our salvation and the grace God gives to people. Redemption Lutheran Church is a place where people gather to rejoice, renew and relate. We rejoice because of the peace we have with God through Jesus and because of the hope of a certain future with our God forever. We are renewed in hope, faith and life through God’s Word. His Word is the only thing that has the power to completely change us. We relate when we offer the people in our lives the same hope and faith and life that we have been given by God. Worship services at Redemption Lutheran last about an hour and revolve entirely around Jesus. In worship, we sing songs, confess our sins and receive forgiveness, we pray, we hear God’s word in Scripture readings and in the sermon, and we receive God’s blessing. Our worship follows an order of service that connects to Christians of long ago while applying Scripture to the people of today. We know we aren’t perfect. We know we mess up – and not just sin small ways. That is why we need a Savior from our sin, whom God has sent us in his son, Jesus.
