Helios Procurement Co. P/L is a Purchasing and Supply Management Company whose focus is to provide procurement solutions. Procurement is a process (rather than an event like buying) of strategic purchasing and supply of services, goods and equipment in conformance with applicable laws and regulations with the aim of adding value to the supply chain and organizational spend.
To date the company has developed a procurement package that has led to the development of four main different divisions but all being guided by the fundamentals of strategic sourcing and supply. The three divisions that constitute Helios Procurement Co. P/L are Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Installation and CAPEX Equipments.
In all the three different divisions the company has managed to offer its procurement package to the ever-increasing pool of clients either as an out – sourcing / in-sourcing partner. The procurement package is tailor-made to suit the different needs of Helios Procurement’s clientele base and is designed to generate meaningful savings.
Savings made on procuring through Helios Procurement as opposed to the open market is quantified upon the request of client and is used as a basis for doing future business with Helios as an integrated strategic partner.
Helios Procurement imports its strategic stock from overseas after negotiations with the key suppliers of these equipments. The company agrees on the quality and delivery period by the manufacturer of these and the benefits are then passed on to the customers.
Every move we take at Helios Procurement P/L is done to serve the interests of our very important guest, the customer. Most of our products come from as far as Denmark, Slovakia, United Kingdom, South American countries like Brazil and the United States of America with the grant plans in the near future to have contracts / probably synergies with these countries.
Helios Procurement P/L has done an in-depth research to find out about the strategic stock that is required by our key prospects customers. It is through these researches that, we will be able to serve the needs of our customers and I am very happy to promise our guests the best.
REFRIGERATION DIVISION
This division involve the procurement and selling of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Equipments. It forms the reasons for our existence as it constitutes 80% of our inventory. Extensive research was done to determine what the industry requires and a lot of such information is going to be of use in meeting day to day complex needs of our customers.
The sub-Sahel Africa has been lacking serious key players in this field especially those players who have technical skills and know how to satisfactorily service the industry. Helios Procurement has thus able to provide such assistance to our important guests with plans to have resounding relationship with all various stake holders.
The company has gears its resources to improve the supply chain management in this industry since it has been starved of this of late because of serious players in the industry.
2. COMPRESSOR AND REFRIGERATION GAS
Different manufacturers and distributors are engaged for the supply of these items, emphasis being laid on the ability to consistently supply the product, competitive pricing and preferred payment terms.
To that end suppliers are constantly evaluated and bench marked against known competitors with the ultimate aim of creating the best value for the client in price terms and otherwise. Spares in this category include the following items:

Flashing gas e.g. R22, F11 OR R141B
Gas-R134A, R404A, R406, R410A,R407C, R507C and their replacements

The successful of the company immensely rely on this department and extensive research has been done to make sure correct gases are imported. These products can either be drawn from warehouse or special arrangements can be made to avail products at agreed delivery time frames.
We have entered into agreements with suppliers of these products so that we can be able to offer product support to all our customers and can train our customers on the usage of the system(s) free of charge. Using all these synergies into between the company and the suppliers, we can offer guaranty on everything that we have in our warehouse. This is because, we have confidence with where we buy our product from and substantial relationships have made this possible.
The company has the vision of having a consolidated warehouse for the respective products drawn from all manufacturers with that aim of improving the supply chain in Southern Africa in the long run. These plans will see us getting the dealership to supply various commodities so as to easy the flow of commodities in the near future.
