Larco Foods B.V. is een zelfstandig bedrijf, opgericht in 1937 als handelsonderneming in pluimvee. Inmiddels zijn wij uitgegroeid tot een modern productiebedrijf, gespecialiseerd in het ambachtelijk bereiden en conserveren (steriliseren) van levensmiddelen.Wij verwerken voornamelijk de beste vrijlopende moederdieren (soepkippen) en ook alle andere ingrediënten zoals vlees, groente, kruiden, etc. zijn van de hoogste kwaliteit en worden met de grootste zorg geselecteerd.
Ons assortiment bestaat o.a. uit ambachtelijke bouillons, fonds, soepen, sauzen, ragouts en een breed assortiment vleesproducten, die zowel in glas, blik als kunststof (pouch) verpakt kunnen worden.
Onze producten worden zowel onder Larco als onder Private Label aangeboden in binnen- en buitenland. Tevens leveren wij aan industriële klanten en zijn co-packer voor een aantal belangrijke merkleveranciers. Onze relaties zijn hoofdzakelijk actief in de food-retail en foodservice.
Onze producten worden in een gecontroleerde omgeving vervaardigd. Het productieproces is voor het grootste deel geautomatiseerd en beide worden door onze eigen kwaliteitsdienst continue bewaakt (Total Quality Management). Het resultaat van deze strategie is dat wij een totaal geborgd kwaliteitssysteem kunnen garanderen wat heeft geresulteerd in de toekenning van IFS.
Larco Foods B.V. heeft als doel de ambachtelijke smaak en kwaliteit van vroeger, mede door gebruik te maken van de hedendaagse moderne technieken, te behouden.
Als eerste worden de benodigde grondstoffen zorgvuldig geselecteerd en ingekocht. Bij bijvoorbeeld kippenvlees wordt het vlees verkregen door het koken van zogenaamde moederdieren (soepkippen) en na het kookproces het vlees handmatig van de karkassen te pellen.
De grondstoffen worden zowel door handarbeid als gemechaniseerd in de consumentenverpakking afgevuld.
