Gary and Deborah Woollett have owned and run KiwiSpan Whakatane since February 2005 when they brought the business off the original KiwiSpan dealer. Their area extends from Hicks bay in the east, to Paengaroa in the East, and includes the towns of Whakatane, Opotiki and Kawerau, Murupara and Edgecumbe. Gary and Deborah have built over 400 buildings during their time, from single car carports to very large industrial buildings.Gary’s background is in the hospitality industry, and Deborah has a background in nursing. They have operated several very successful businesses in the last 17 years, and shifted their family from the Manawatu to enjoy the wonderful lifestyle the Eastern Bay of Plenty has to offer – especially the fishing for Gary!Gary & Deborah believe that KiwiSpan building’s are the superior portal frame building on the market today, and the innovative computer design system gives it an edge on their competitors in being able to design a building specific to the client’s needs.
