Located in the heart of Dover, Delaware, Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus has been offering quality healthcare since 1927.

Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus offers a comprehensive array of services to the residents of Central Delaware, including cardiac surgery and diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations; endovascular surgery; da Vinci® Si™ Surgical System; neurosurgery; family-centered birth services and neonatal care; cancer care; orthopedic and rehabilitation services; advanced digital imaging; inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical care; intensive, intermediate and coronary care; and a 24-hour emergency department.

Cardiac surgery procedures include coronary artery bypass grafts and heart valve repair and replacement, and interventional cardiology services include therapeutic cardiac catheterization and balloon angioplasty.

Bayhealth’s Neurosciences Program (a component of Neurosciences) treats patients with traumatic injuries to the brain and spinal cord and other complex neurological conditions such as intracranial bleeding or seizures.

Kent's two-story Women’s Center provides state-of-the-art women’s services and improves high-risk deliveries and critical care to neonatal infants. All maternity rooms are private.

Cancer services mission is to provide a comprehensive range of services that focuses on high-quality and state-of-the art care. Patients meeting certain criteria may also participate in Bayhealth’s cancer clinical trials. Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus was the first facility in Delaware to offer IMRT treatment for certain cancers, and also offers Trilogy™, an advanced system for image-guided radiotherapy and radiosurgery.

Individuals needing orthopaedic and rehabilitation services will find it all at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus. Our 16-bed designated Center for Orthopaedics provides post-surgical care for patients who have had bone or joint surgery. Kent also offers physical, occupational, speech and aquatic therapy services on an outpatient basis, and home health care services are also available.

Diagnostic services continue to grow at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus. In 2009 Bayhealth implemented full-field digital mammography at all locations providing mammography services. Other services include open MRI, PET CT, and general X-ray services.

Other services include a Wound Care Center, SleepCare Center, and respiratory and neurodiagnostic services. An outpatient pharmacy is available to serve patients discharged from the Emergency Department, same-day surgery or other hospital clinics, and three retail stores for the convenience of patients and visitors.
